Lamplight Puppies is a small family-owned business located in beautiful west-central Minnesota. We are dedicated to raising healthy and adorable puppies for families who desire a loyal companion.
We raise Mini Bernedoodles and the smaller Petite Bernedoodles. Our puppies’ fun-loving and playful personalities will bring joy to their new home and win over the hearts of all they come in contact with! They are raised in the tranquil Minnesota countryside with room to run and play. We socialize them daily in a happy and nurturing environment to facilitate attachment to their new family. Our adult dogs are our pets that we have raised and trained from puppies.

OUR GOAL
Our goal is to provide healthy and adorable F1b Hybrid puppies with a strong genetic background. We raise both Mini F1b Bernedoodles and Petite F1b Bernedoodles. Our Bernedoodle puppies are a combination of our beautiful F1 Bernedoodle mothers who come from AKC purebred parents and an AKC purebred toy poodle. The F1b Hybrid enjoys the health benefits of the Bernese Mountain Dog and Poodle mix. Exciting qualities we love about our puppies are the adorable “Teddy Bear” coat and enhanced hypoallergenic and non-shedding traits! Expected size of our Mini Bernedoodles for sale range from 30-50 lbs when fully grown and our Petite Bernedoodles range from 12-24 lbs at adulthood.

All of our Bernedoodle puppies will be examined by a licensed veterinarian and will be up-to-date on their vaccinations prior to going to their new homes. Each Bernedoodle puppy will come with a vaccination record and medical screening report. We are dedicated to providing a healthy bloodline in all of our Bernedoodle puppies, and we commit to a one-year health guarantee for any genetic defects.
Our desire is for our Bernedoodle puppies to have a high quality of life throughout their lives, and we aim to place our Bernedoodle puppies in loving and capable homes. We understand a new puppy can bring many changes to a home, and we are available to offer support and answer questions from the time of the selection process through the puppy’s transition to its new home and beyond!
OUR STORY
Hello from rural Minnesota! We are Mason and Candace Metzger, and we live in a small town about one hour east of the South Dakota border. We both grew up with dogs and an array of other pets throughout childhood! Mason and his boyhood dog, Jackson, were inseparable friends. After we were married, we dreamed of having dogs of our own and were thrilled when we brought home our first playful puppies! We look forward to spreading this joy and laughter to your home as well!

PUPPY VISITS
Our Bernedoodle puppies’ cheerful and affectionate dispositions are sure to warm your heart and bring years of joy to your home! They are ready to go to their new homes at eight weeks of age.
We encourage a visit to meet the Bernedoodle puppies and pick one that is right for you and your family! Alternatively, we are available via FaceTime or virtual meetings. For the health of our puppies, we wait until after they receive their first vaccines to schedule a visit.
